How do you handle all wood & debris after completing a project?
The majority of the time all wood and debris will be hauled and chipped. In other situations, the estimator will note if the wood stays, or sometimes customers like to keep some wood and have us haul away the larger trunk wood.
Do you use spikes when working on trees?
We do not use spikes to climb live trees for pruning. This was common in the 80’s and unfortunately still occurs today, but is an outdated practice. Regardless of the tree service company you choose, we ask that our customers always ensure whoever they hire to make sure that spikes are not used when pruning – only in the case of removals.
Are you licensed & insured?
We are fully insured and licensed to perform work in New Mexico. Copies of our insurance can be provided upon request. Also, for commercial work, we can add your company as an additional insured. Feel free to request a Certificate of Insurance from our office anytime.
How much for an estimate?
Chris' Tree Service provides estimates free of charge from all of our specialists. The only estimates which incur a charge occur when a Certified Arborist comes out to complete a formal tree evaluation. Formal tree evaluations consist of a write-up or assessment of a tree or number of trees on a property that does not result in any further tree services to be performed.
